Bill B. Shoning, President –
As president of Better Building Systems, and over twenty-nine years as an owner/operator of a construction company serving Southern Nevada, Mr. Shoning has extensive hospitality/gaming construction industry experience, bringing both integrity driven strong client relationships and industry resources to Better Building Systems. Along with his determination for excellence, Mr. Shoning has directed recruitment and retention of supervisors, staff, and craftsman of 350 employees successfully. Bill is a hands on leader involved in all aspects of company management including; prospect development and execution, company and project strategic planning, and contract negotiations.
Mr. Colvin is an accomplished high-level professional with over thirty years executive experience in accounting, treasury, and all aspects of financial management. Rick contributes his envaluable experience and dedication to the business team by ensuring that project development interactions, management, and employees, have the resources needed to provide both knowlegeable and superior service.
With over 27 years of building experience, Travis Cubley is asenior level construction management executive, with demonstrated ability to direct company personnel and resources to complete large complex design-build construction projects from the conceptual development phase, to completion and close-out. Mr. Cubley has experience in project development ranging from large hospitality/gaming projects, as well as, practiced knowledge of projects within the public works sector. With an intuitive and innovative approach to project development and an understanding of owner’s expectations, Travis is a tremendous asset to the executive team.
With over thirty years construction experience as a builder, Todd Gibson is a productive detail driven senior project manager that has experience within all aspects of construction, from residential projects, to light commercial (office, retail, warehouse), and heavy commercial including freeway bridges to casino/resort construction. Mr. Gibson brings to the executive team an ability to recognize unique requirements early on to effectively team and track all building construction, ultimately determining the successful organizational support to every project.
Bill J. Shoning is experienced and highly qualified in field operational supervision of hotel & resort industry related projects, commercial projects, industrial, and tenant improvements. Bill develops strong communication with Owners, Architects, Designers, Engineers, and Subcontractors from the initial commencement to the final completion, creating a unified atmosphere of goal-oriented success. While analyzing and executing effective staff and tradesman coordination, Bill establishes construction schedule fluidity that meets both owner and project specific demands successfully.
